Flex Circuits Integrated Test Handler | iRR300

The MMS Flex Circuits Integrated Handler combines five different core modules into a single operation line, creating an all-purpose, Swiss-army flex circuit machine that uses minimal floor space with its effective yet compact design.
This unique setup allows it to perform flex circuit attach with interleave to run window punch, electrical tests, and reject punch with vision inspection on the flex circuit product. Laser marking module integration is also easily supported, elevating the iRR300 to be industry-ready with high standards for testing and inspection.

Flex circuit reels are manually loaded into the machine for input, while a blank interleave reel is loaded for output.

The flex circuit goes through a short electrical test first before being transferred to the window punch dieset.

The flex circuit then undergoes an open electrical test.

The flex circuit goes through top and bottom vision inspection for cosmetic inspection.

The reject punch module punches out rejected flex circuit products and transfers them to the reject vision inspection.

The splice counter cuts out rejected flex circuits and combines them back with Kapton tape to index to the output reel.
