Auto Trim & Form | LF1000

The LF1000 Trim and Form Machine is designed to fully automatically singulate lead frames without hassle. All movement of the LF1000 is driven by pneumatic and motor devices, with minimal operator intervention required.

The servo motor-driven toggle press (wholly different from the market’s generic hydraulic press) is the core highlight of this machine. A magazine filled with lead frames is loaded into the machine, and lead frames are then transferred into die sets automatically. All units are gathered in a tube after the trim and forming process for the operator to collect.

A test and vision inspection system integrated into a single machine platform, running simultaneously to ease and minimize handling of products in between test processes, reducing errors and saving floor space. Additional output add-on using tape and reel can be added alongside tray magazine output. This machine is capable of performing 4 different types of test ( Optical, Electrical, Uniformity, Photodiode) and 6sided vision inspections on a wide scope of common market flash lens and photo sensors.

Flow Chart

Track carries the lead frame through the Tiebar Dieset and Singulation Dieset module.

Flowchart

The operator loads the magazine into the magazine input module, which will then kick out the frame onto the tracks.

The track carries the lead frame through the Tiebar Dieset and Singulation Dieset modules.

The pusher module pushes the singulated package into the curved track so it can be carried to the Forming Dieset.

All singulated packages are collected in tubes at the Output Tube Station. When a tube is filled, it is pushed to the right into a tube collector bin.
