Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities: 

  1. Machine and module conceptual design, proposal and defining the technical requirements. 
  2. Costing and project planning to meet project budget and schedule.
  3. Design standardization, selection and sizing of standard components.
  4. Design for manufacturing (DFM), design for assembly (DFA) and concurrent engineering.
  5.  Prepare detail fabrication parts drawings, assembly drawings and Bill of Material.
  6. Pneumatic circuit design and prepare pneumatic diagram.
  7. Prepare checklist for design, assembly and pre-delivery inspection activities.
  8. Prepare project reports, machine operation manual and other related documents upon completion of project. 
  9. Provide technical advice and guidance to project engineers, assembler and service team. 

Qualifications:

  1.  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. 
  2. Familiar with Solid works.
  3. At least 3 years of working experience in the related field. 
  4. Possess hand-on experience in mechanical systems debugging and troubleshooting.
  5. Experienced in automation design and knowledge in tooling/die set design is an added advantage
